Dog Knee Brace for Back Leg Torn CCL

Our older spaniel stopped using a back leg recently and the vet thought it was a torn ACL but didn't recommend surgery so I grabbed this even at a bit of a steep price (I hovered over the stars on "value for money" - for its complexity and quality of construction it is worth this much). Wavering between two sizes I went big and should not have, it's a little large with hook and loop adjustments at their max, but it still works to give his leg support and mostly to keep him more cautious and from overusing it. Once you have everything on and adjusted - no small feat the first time! - it's quick and easy to get on with clips everywhere you need them. He hates it, but hopefully it'll be a relatively quick convalescence and this will have done its job. It seems to be helping so far, he's moving much more easily with it on and off. I have seen more "minimalist" models (that are also much cheaper) and may grab one of those for once he's mostly back in shape, just to protect it a bit longer but without putting him in the whole thing - if your dog's injury is less severe that may be an option.

Dog Double Leg Brace

My dog's legs are getting weaker as she ages, and she has difficulty walking. After purchasing this double leg brace, she was completely uncomfortable at first and tried to take it off. After a few days of adaptation, she started to get used to it, and the brace provided good support for her walking. The overall effect is good, but if your dog is more active, it may take more time to adapt. Overall, the design and material of the brace are very good, and it is worth a try.

My dog, Loki, tore his right CCL three years ago and had surgery. As predicted he has now torn his left CCL. This harness and brace help with stability and support. Loki acclimated to wearing the brace in a few short sessions. He now stands patiently as I put it on him. I took my dog to the vet and was quoted $6000 for surgery on her ACL I then had to find different options so I decided to look up knee brace for dogs and happen to come across this product. It is absolutely great. My dog wears it or most of the time she sleeps fine with it and after about a month of wearing it constant when I take it off she is not limping and I am convinced it is healing heal her tendon. This product has held up very well and I have even washed it. It is definitely a way better price then surgery :) highly recommend

She’s comfortable. She was iffy about to first but she’s used to me dressing her up all the time so she adapted well. She can run with it on (which she shouldn’t be ). She can also lay comfortably on the couch with it and her leg extends out but nothing horrible that interrupts her 4 hour naps LOLThis does help her to not run around in the house though and the harness helps keep the leg sleeve up to avoid her putting pressure and using that leg. Thank you!
