Hip Brace for Dogs with Hip Dysplasia

I was stuck between two sizes so went with the smaller of the two. The fit is very good. Getting in and out of the Cody (my car) is easy. The support is obviously great and at his age he needs all he can get. This hip brace is obviously more comfortable and supportive than other hip braces. It took Cody about two days to get used to wearing it. He was walking better, but the extra support gave him an unfamiliar feeling, so he immediately defaulted to the sitting position. When I gave him a chew bone that he liked, he immediately took it to a safer, more private area of the house, so I'll use those to get him used to moving around with his new braces.

So glad we got this rear leg brace for Skylar at a great price. The product is very well made and obviously a lot of care has been put into making it. The structure of her hind legs had always been unusual and when we put the brace on, luckily she made good progress. My dog has hip dysplasia. I bought 2 other hip braces before buying this one, but none of them were long enough or soft enough for our dog which is heavier with a large chest. This hip brace fits perfectly! There's also a carrying handle that you don't have to bend at all to use. Its quality is excellent. I highly recommend this. I tell everyone about this hip brace. If you want to support your dog's hind legs after surgery or in old age. get this.

Dog Hip Support Brace for Dysplasia

I bought this for my 11 year old Springer Colin whose back legs were starting to cave in. I gave him pain relief, but it didn't solve his physical problems. My vet told me that braces can help, but not in all cases I searched and found this. When he first put it on, he looked much better, walking on 4 legs instead of bunny hopping. He had no problem getting down the back steps and gliding across the field without a single fall. It took a while before his hind legs let go. I take it off before bed and put it back on in the morning. Colin obviously loved it because he came up to me and stood in front of me when I installed it. Colin was very happy with the purchase as he seemed even happier.
