Dog Hip Hound Brace

We purchased this for our 2-year-old pit bull mix with an ACL tear, before this arrived, he was holding his back leg up, once we received this and put it on him, he walks a lot better, putting a little more pressure on his leg every day. He was unsure of it at first but seems to tolerate it. We had taken him to a Specialist, surgery cost to repair the tear is about $5,500, with no guarantee it won't happen again, and they are unable to get him in until mid-November. no way were we going to let him suffer until then, hoping this does a great job and we can pass on the surgery. So far, so good!

Dog Torn Acl Brace

The dog had one intact hind leg and had torn the cruciate ligament in it. The hips are too angled for regular braces, so this one with straps works pretty well. He has to wear left and right. A chest collar is better, although the collar will tighten as the dog moves around. The dog is 13 years old but otherwise in good health.

Adjustable Dog Acl Brace

The brace is well made and super easy to put on. I was pleased as it relieved some of the pain of trying to walk. We used it for 3 weeks and let her wear it occasionally at night when she was resting. She is now able to walk more comfortably without it as she tore her cruciate ligament. We are taking it very slowly. w I love the support and stability of this brace is really fantastic. bracek can be adjusted to fit the dog best by adjusting it to provide very stable support, really great!!! This brace has been a great help for my dog. I hope this helps you and your pup!

Dog Hip Dysplasia Brace

it’s been less than 30 minutes and she’s already taking very well to the brace as well as she seems a lot happier and it hasn’t even been an hour since she’s been wearing it I will take it off at night as recommended but if you have a dog that’s having back leg issues all I did was measure the top higher part of her leg and it seems to be a perfect fit the bottom piece I did have to fold in a little but it’s not bothering her any the material is nice and soft and as you can see

Dog Hip Dysplasia Brace

My dog couldn't resist it! marvelous! ! ! Hasn't been able to walk normally since he got hurt, and he's okay and not very happy. I thought it would resist before I bought it, and I was still worried about it not wanting to wear it, but it didn't resist at all! This is what surprised me. And this product has helped my dog walk very well and helped him recover, which is amazing.

Little Dog Rear Wheelchair

Our dog is loving the mobility he now has with his new wheels. Little dog rear wheelchair was a little tricky at first assembling and getting him in the cart but we now have it down pat and our pup is mobile. After looking at many different products this cart is a great value and working great thus far.

Hinged Dog Leg Brace

I was excited to get the Hinged Dog Leg Brace Xsmall, for my little curmudgeon Woody. The vet said that he tore his ACL when chasing a squirrel and that maybe a brace would help it to heal. When I first got it, I found that the strap over the back would not stay in place, so I put a halter on him, attached another dog collar to the halter and to the strap. It worked. When I wrote a note to Lovepluspet for advice, they let me know that I had the brace around the leg backwsrds. I had it backwards. They were kind enough to send me pictures. The brace, even with my halter get up, would not stay on. It would slip down and off his leg. I found that the top would curl down in the inside and rub his tummy. It worked better when I had it on him backwards. I noticed when he would go down the two steps to go outside, he would swing his leg around. The brace is well made. I feel that the buckle should be at the top, on the back. When the brace is placed correctly, the strap in front, cuts across his ACL. The brace doesn't go all the way around his thigh. I think if I went with the XXS, to fit the length of his leg, the brace would not go around the leg. I just had a terrible time getting it to fit on this short legged dog. When I had it on him wrong, the brace held his leg and he was able to get round. Lovepluspet has been very supportive and has answered my numerous e-mails.
