I bought the right size and it fits nicely when I first put it on, but it didn't take long for it to pull the sleeves down on its own. The elasticity and design of the sleeves are good, and they can fully cover the dog's four legs, but when the dog is more active, the protector doesn't always stay in place. Although it is effective, it depends on the amount of activity.

Front Leg Elbow Licking Sleeve for Dogs

Overall, this is a great solution to prevent leg licking. Our dog is insistent on doing so. It's also nice because they can still go to the bathroom with it on. I will say that I think a slightly longer sleeve would be nice because it still leaves a bit of the leg exposed. I'd rather scrunch up a too long sleeve. Otherwise, this is perfect for my needs.

Dog Sleeves to Prevent Licking Four Legs

This is almost like a neoprene sleeve, fairly thick and stiff. We have a senior dog with an ulceration on her elbow and she has to keep it covered, I was hoping this would work but it is too thick to let the wound have some air flow, along with the rest of her leg. A little stiff on her too, and as she doesn't walk super well at her age already not the best. If you needed more of a compression fit this might be for you, for our purposes it's too thick and tight. Seemed to stay on ok when we tried it on her.
