In 2019, Tansy tore one back ACL, and the following year, she tore another; both were surgically corrected. However, she has since developed arthritis in her back and hips. Over the past few months, signs of aging and arthritis have quickly appeared on Tansy. She has been having difficulty walking around or standing for long periods of time. Her front paws began to deform, possibly in part because she compensated for the pain and deformation of the rear end. An aunt told us about OrthoDog and said it has worked wonders for their dog. We knew we had to give it a try and hopefully give Tansy a better quality of life for the rest of her life. Tansy doesn't necessarily like wearing it, and she's acting a bit like a baby, but it's a wonderful little miracle to see our adorable furry baby move better after wearing the brace for a few days. Tansy was still clearly 15 years old in terms of her mobility, but the brace revitalized her a bit as she seemed to have less pain and was able to move around more freely. For all of this, we are very grateful and felt that the bracket was worth every penny! The customer service is great too - from verifying the size to make sure you ordered the correct size, to asking if the bracket will fit when you receive it.
