Thursday, 24 February 2022My dog is terrified of the vets, he won’t let them touch him. He has had a couple of serious health problems recently and this facemask is an absolute life saver. They could not examine/treat him. I ordered this on prime it came fast and the vets could examine him the very next day.
It looks intimidating, but it’s very soft fabric, plenty for space for eyes and nose holes. He’s got space to pant if he gets hot or stressed. Once the vets exam is over he doesn’t seem to mind the mask too much, he wants it off but it doesn’t cause him undue stress.
It’s quick to put on, it has adjustable straps behind the ears. You are better doing it a little tighter than too loose.
An absolute must for any pug/frenchie/bulldog owner, you never know when you might need it.

Thursday, 10 February 2022My frenchie chews EVERYTHING!!!! like through our drywall, and everything in between LITERALLY A HUGE problem! I live in a condo and I rent and white her chewing through walls, leaving holes it’s a bad thing.
Super fast shipping and now she can’t chew the house down ❤️ Win
She didn’t like it and freaked out, but she will adjust because she has no choice lol

Thursday, 10 February 2022One of our 5 pugs is a little mental, and used to go after another of our pugs on a regular basis (and then gets the whole grumble in an uproar, in addition to actually causing some minor physical and major emotional damage to our targeted pug). After speaking with our vet (oh, so many times), we landed on the solution to muzzle him throughout the day (it was either that, or we’d need to surrender him, it was getting that bad 😢). But how do you muzzle a PUG? We were using the smallest Baskerville muzzle and it was working very well for stopping these bouts of crazy, but our perpetrator couldn’t really lay his head down too well without some serious adjustment time every time he tried. Enter the JYHY Short Snout Dog Muzzle! I was initially a little skeptical and worried that he might be able to still do some damage through this thing (biting), and was a bit worried that we’d have crazytown all over again. I needn’t have — this muzzle performs beautifully! Jeeves is still unable to bite anyone through this muzzle, and he seems MUCH more comfortable in it (wayyyy less pawing at it and moving his head around to get comfortable). It’s also easier to feed him treats through it. It’s easy to put on, and since our guy needs to wear it virtually full time, I LOVE that it has eye holes for him!

Wednesday, 09 February 2022My vet was so impressed that she bought some. I have a shih tzu who is normally quite sweet, but turns into a snarly, snapping monster if you try to put anything in his ears or trim his back toenails. This has been a miracle for caring for his needs at home and at the vet. Don't think it would work for leaving on dog for extended time (like to keep from eating something) because the dog could pull it off with enough pawing.

Thursday, 03 February 2022 No more drama at vet visits-AMAZING
Our Boston Terrier has become a Boston Terror when he visits the veterinarian. He was so feisty on his last visit a few weeks ago, they needed to sedate him just to clean his ears, clip his toenails, and give him his shots. He had another appointment today for an ear infection and I dreaded taking him. Good fortune had the mailman arriving with my short snout muzzle five minutes before leaving. The vet and tech had not seen one before, and knowing our dog’s past behavior, were more than happy to give it a try. Long story short, no sedation, no stressed out dog, and no issues for the vet.
They said the short snout dog muzzle was “amazing”. I agree!
He may act like Hannibal Lecter at the vets, he may look like Hannibal Lecter at the vets but it definitely made for a more pleasant appointment for all concerned.
Fits well, seems comfortable for our dog, and appears to be well made with good quality materials.
We don’t have nipping and snapping issues with our Boston any other time so will only be using it for vet visits. Reasonably priced and worth every penny!
